Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!

Our District/ Board goals:

1. Provide resources to meet the social and emotional needs of all students to increase student learning.

2. Reexamine our school security with an eye on updating and implementing safe and secure practices.

3. Continue to communicate with our community on educational issues, providing fact-based information in an easily digestible format to our stakeholders.

Hello, my name is John Ogbin and I would like to introduce myself as the new Superintendent of Oldmans Township School District. I am excited to be a part of this terrific district and community.

I have been an educator for 23 years. I began my teaching career as a third-grade teacher in the Pennsville School District. While in Pennsville, I taught in grades 3, 4, and 5 and computers for grades 1 to 5. I began my administrative career as the Assistant Principal of Pennsville Memorial High School in 2007. In 2011 I moved to the Greenwich Stow Creek Partnership School District as the Curriculum Coordinator/Building Administrator and stayed there until 2013. In July of 2013 I was appointed the Curriculum Coordinator/Assistant Principal for Hopewell Crest School where I worked for ten years until this June when I was approved as Superintendent of Oldmans Township.

One of the things I learned through my experience is that close knit school communities are passionate about their school. They hold dear the traditions, connections, and pride in their school districts. After starting in my official capacity for the past week I can tell that is certainly the case here at Oldmans. I plan to work together with the students, staff, parents, and community to continue the traditions and add to the greatness of this district by providing the best possible education for your children.

I can’t wait to meet all of you and get this school year started but we still have a couple weeks of summer left, so get outside and enjoy them. I will see all of you in September.

Sincerely,

John B. Ogbin

Superintendent

Oldmans Township School
