Oldmans Township Middle School Band took a trip to Penns Grove High School today. They worked in sectionals, worked with other teachers from the district, and put on a side-by-side concert. Thank you to Penns Grove High School for hosting us! It was great getting to play with some Oldmans alumni.

4th grade created makeshift phones to learn about "Waves of Sound" in science class!

Students in the 1st grade recently had 6th graders visit them. Together they wrote a letter to a pen pal who had sent them a symbolic monarch butterfly. Students calculated how far the butterflies flew from their hometown to the overwintering sanctuary in Mexico and back north to Oldmans Township School.

The annual Health Fair was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who volunteered, supported, and stopped by to visit. And a special thanks goes to Mrs. Pipczynski for her effort and dedication in organizing this event for the first time!

4th graders getting writing inspiration from this beautiful spring day.

6th - 8th grade had a great time on their PAW bowling trip!

It was so great having Oldmans alum Cole Chiu come back this week to help Mrs. Gomez with middle school band and beginning band! Cole and his friend John are both involved in the music program at Woodstown High School.

First grade students had fun using a stretchy band in music for a movement activity to "The Rakes of Mallow" by Leroy Anderson.

Students in 4th grade are shaking sugar cubes hundreds of times to model erosion of rocks. How many shakes to make a sugar cube into a sphere?

We hope you all are having a wonderful summer!
